In July 2026, the first information sessions on the RISE Balkans Youth Bootcamps were held in Greece (7 July), Bulgaria (8 July, National Student Confederation) and Croatia (10 July, in a hybrid format). The sessions presented the concept and objectives of the Bootcamps and the way to apply.
The Youth Bootcamps are intensive, hands-on civic education events for young people aged 18–26. Working in interdisciplinary teams, participants simulate real policymaking processes, practise democratic advocacy techniques and co-create civic initiatives and youth-led policy proposals. The most promising initiatives then receive mentoring under Work Package 7.
