Consortium

RISE Balkans brings together 8 partner organisations from 5 countries, 3 EU Member States (Greece, Bulgaria and Croatia) and 2 EU candidate countries (Albania and North Macedonia). The consortium combines the academic expertise of universities with the practical experience of civil society organisations and the youth outreach of a national student organisation. Universities provide research excellence, policy analysis and educational tools, while civil society organisations contribute practical methods, field experience and advocacy. Altogether, we deliver authentic youth representation and peer-to-peer outreach.

The project is coordinated by the European University Center for Crime & Justice (EUROCRIM), under the directorship of Professor Dimitris Ziouvas.
