On 10 December 2026, RISE Balkans holds its first regional online event, “Integrity and Anti-Corruption: Building Transparent Societies”. The date falls between International Anti-Corruption Day (9 December) and Human Rights Day (10 December).
The event explores how young people, civil society and institutions promote integrity and counter corruption across the Balkans and the EU. Invited speakers will address practical themes, such as the mechanisms and channels for reporting corruption, and young people will have space to share their own perspectives, with live polls and open discussion.
The event is open to young people aged 18–26 from the 5 project countries, as well as from other EU Member States and the Western Balkans. It will last up to 2 hours, and all participants will receive a certificate of attendance.
It is the first of a series of regional online events of RISE Balkans, which will continue with open governance and transparency, citizen participation in lawmaking, civic tech and digital democracy, and inclusive democracy.
