On 31 March 2026, EUROCRIM held the first information session of RISE Balkans in Greece, in the Sakis Karagiorgas I Amphitheatre of Panteion University in Athens. Students were introduced to the project, the ways in which they can take part in its activities and the benefits of participating.
The session was combined with a lecture by Professor Alberto Alemanno, Professor of Law and Public Policy at HEC Paris and Democracy Fellow at Harvard University, on “Young Citizens’ Participation in European Democracy”, with a contribution by Professor Dimitris Ziouvas, Project Lead of RISE Balkans. After the event, the participants were invited to take part in the online survey of the project.
Similar information sessions were held in all 5 project countries.
